Traveling before was indeed hard. This is due to the lack of transportation systems which would have enabled us to travel around the world. The fact that it also cost us a lot of money just to experience cultures from different countries makes traveling hard before. Traveling before may take you months to arrive at your final destination since we can only travel by ships or a boat. However, today new technologies and innovation like planes and bullet train defy those boundaries.
These days, almost everyone can afford traveling. Transportation is no longer a problem when traveling because money is no longer a major problem for some people. There is no specific definition for traveling. According to Derrek (2013) travel certainly means something different to everyone and whatever it may mean to you, that’s what it means. Traveling is fun when it involves persons you are close to. Thus include family and friends where you can definitely have some leisure time with your loved one. One thing that I find interesting by traveling is that it teaches you about yourself, the world and becomes much appreciated with life around you. Euram (2017) stated that you will realize how you really feel about foreign people. This could change our perceptions towards foreign people learn that there is a lot of good things in learning other culture.

Several reasons on why we should travel the world include making new friends. When people are away from home, there seem to be fewer boundaries to cross and making friends becomes much easier, whether it’s a local curious to know where you’ve come from our fellow travellers keen to have someone with whom to enjoy a beer or share a taxi. (Jacada, 2015). By having social interactions with people from other countries, you tend to find people interesting, and eventually making you happier. Travelling also can be described as learning as it helps in widening our knowledge. According to Jacada (2015). Learning makes our brains more active, which psychologists have found increases in our level of happiness - particularly when learning something we find enjoyable.
Sometimes, travel helps you go through a lot of new experience. Whether it is good or it is bad, you still learn new experience in other countries. Wood (2017) stated that more exciting things happen in the span of a week than ever did back home, but you also go through more bad times, depressions, frustrations, and losses as well. Bad times, depression happened while traveling might comes from a terrible planning. This is why you should plan your trip well. First of all, get your documents such as passport, visa in order. Passport or visa act as your identity card in order for you to enter one country. Henry (2014) stated that usually a government-issued ID card or driver's license is enough to prove our age or identity to someone. After that, make sure that your passport is valid and up to date. This is to avoid you from further problems that might cause you trouble during the check-up at the airport.
On the other hand, there are some tips to make your traveling memories enjoyable. One of them would be making journals of your trips. Kosman (2017) stated that a travel journal doesn’t need to be on paper, emails to friends or family are great ways to preserve memories. Besides, you can also create a photo book that contains pictures from your trip. According to Dougherty (2018) it’s truly amazing how going through one of these books – especially if you’re having a day when you’re feeling down – brings back good memories and lifts your spirits. Below is the example of photo books that you can try;

To conclude, traveling is always fun when you appreciate things in life. It helps to widen your perceptions, becoming more humble towards life, happier and more. There is no such thing as wasting your money when it comes to travel. Hence, people should realize that traveling is indeed good for your own health and experience.
